Dwight Scales is a former American football wide receiver who played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Chicago Bears and the San Diego Chargers. He was born on May 30, 1953 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Scales attended the University of Arkansas, where he was a two-time All-Southwest Conference selection. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the fourth round of the 1975 NFL Draft. He played for the Bears from 1975 to 1979, and then for the San Diego Chargers from 1980 to 1982. Scales finished his NFL career with a total of 2,845 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns. He was inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame in 2003. As of 2021, Dwight Scales's net worth is estimated to be roughly $1 million.
